Charming little and special hotel in a lovely position by palm trees. Efficient service from the outstandingly accommodating, amicable staff members. Big beds, central heating, TV set, and a radio in the room. Really good overall experience😀👌

had a lovely stay at a charming B&B-like hotel in Tarifa. The clean property, well-kept pool, and beautiful gardens made for a relaxed atmosphere. Location was a bit further out, but it was easy to arrange a short taxi ride or enjoy a 15-minute walk to the beach. exceeded expectations and felt in tune with the area.
Breakfast order process was confusing.

The rooms at Hotel La Pena are cozy and comfortable, making me feel right at home. I loved the private bathrooms with either a bath or shower, giving me the option to relax and unwind after a long day. The flat-screen TV in the single room kept me entertained, and the tile/marble floor added a touch of elegance. the rooms were clean and had everything I needed for a pleasant stay.
Personally, I found the fan in the room to be a little noisy. But hey, that's just my preference, and I'm sure others might appreciate the cool breeze it provides.

I absolutely loved the hotel's decoration and general areas. The design was elegant and charming, with beautiful touches that made me feel right at home. The gardens and outdoor spaces were delightful, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the tranquility. As a senior woman, I appreciated that the hotel was easily accessible, with no stairs to climb and plenty of seats around for resting.
I would have asked for more assistance from the staff when it comes to activities suitable for senior people. It would have been helpful if they could have provided recommendations or organized excursions that catered specifically to our needs.

Garden Patio: Stepping into the garden patio at this hotel felt like entering an oasis amidst the desert. The soothing sound of the fountain, fed by the pure spring water from the sierra, transported me to a state of tranquility and relaxation. It was like taking a refreshing sip of water in the middle of a scorching desert.
Noisy Courtyard: Unfortunately, my room faced the courtyard, making it a bit noisy at times when there were people around.

Great location near the town and beach , and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The hotel had huge gardens and areas where my dog could play. Clean and comfy rooms and a nice pool were definitely a plus. Lovely views from the terrace.
It was a bit difficult to find the hotel as there was no sign on the road and the main entrance was not clearly visible.
